Judge gags terror case parties

Posted By on Mon, Jun 8, 2009 at 1:15 PM

Fox 16's David Goins Twitters that District Judge Alice Lightle has granted Prosecutor Larry Jegley's request for a gag order in the murder case against the man charged with killing a young soldier outside a Little Rock recruiting station.

The suspect's lawyer has been responding to FBI leaks damaging to his client. "Fighting fire with fire," is how Jim Hensley put it to me.

For now, the fire is out. But the battle could resume when the case reaches a new judge in circuit court.
