The line is open

Monday, Monday.

PS -- Blue day for Bill Halter. Seven on Your Side jumped him today for devoting his new taxpayer-financed newsletter mostly to pictures of himself, maybe a dozen. Others spend on newsletters, websites, e-mails, even (if you're governor) radio and TV productions. But others have offices with statutory duties that make it appear as if your promotional literature is more about the office's duties than the person holding it. Lt. gov. has less to work with.

I got the message today before noon; others didn't find out until it was going on. But however folks found out, they turned out in huge numbers, more than thousand men, women and children, on the grounds of the state Capitol to listen to speakers from all faiths and many countries.
