Posted By on Wed, Jun 10, 2009 at 4:03 PM

Attorney General Dustin McDaniel's office has issued an official opinion -- requested by Sen. Paul Miller -- that said golf carts may be operated on city streets only between a residence and a golf course and only if a city ordinance allows it.

I figure an outbreak of golf cart traffic in some retirement community or another prompted this.

But I wonder about the implications for the old fellow in the photograph we ran a while back. He  motors to the drive-thru liquor store in Morrilton on his lawn tractor, with momma in a chair in the little trailer behind.
