The line is open.

The news of the moment continues to be boiling unrest in Iran, with stronger words today from President Obama on harsh treatment of those protesting. This op-ed contributes a little useful analysis on the fact that the issue is more complicated than the black-white portrait many are painting.

Also today there's news of the escape of a New York Times reporter kidnapped by the Taliban in November. His abduction was kept secret to protect his life.
