King of the Hill

Posted By on Tue, Jul 7, 2009 at 10:31 AM

The blog has been writing for some time about Republican operatives' whispers that Little Rock banker French Hill was being touted as a potential opponent for U.S. Rep. Vic Snyder in 2010. He's been tight-lipped about the idea.

Now comes Roll Call, stirring up the soup once more. Party bigwigs apparently like the sound of Hill's candidacy (certainly better than that of the announced propane truck driver from Faulkner County). David Kinkade at The Arkansas Project rounds all the chatter up

Is Hill prepared to leave his bank at something less than an ideal time for the financial industry? I'm guessing that's an important question for him.
