The Democratic wing of the party

So the Democratic Party is buying ads targeting nominal Democrats -- i.e. Sens. Lincoln and Pryor -- to build support for the Obama administration's healthcare initiative.

A Senate committee approved a version of the legislation today, by the way.

Sen. Lincoln reported $1.2 million in campaign contributions in the second quarter of the year. The full on-line document, detailing contributions from the healthcare lobby, is not yet available.
