Lottery at work

Posted By on Sun, Jul 19, 2009 at 1:52 PM

A followup to yesterday's mention of blogger Jason Tolbert's unanswered call to the Arkansas Lottery Commission on Saturday. I'm informed by a staffer that at least five people were at work at the office Saturday -- though not answering the telphone at the reception desk -- and that employees are on hand Sunday, though some waited until after church.

"Just because we weren't open in the usual sense doesn't mean we weren't working," one employee said.
