Sanford hypocrisy watch

Posted By on Mon, Aug 10, 2009 at 1:36 PM

Penny-pinching South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford wasn't so tight when it came to spending taxpayer money on himself. The latest in what has become ho-hum hypocrisy news: he abused use of the state plane for personal purposes, including one flight to get to a haircut on time.

Wasn't there another Republican governor who found numerous ways to keep a State Police airplane aloft?
