White House putdowns

Posted By on Wed, Aug 19, 2009 at 2:33 PM

The president claims he'd still like a bipartisan bill (well, sure) but agrees that the Republican leadership wants only to derail health care reform. But, it sounds like, he doesn't have much use for progressives either. To call 60 members of the U.S. House "left of left" sounds like something Doyle Webb would say, not a sitting Democratic president.

Kind of related: A new poll identifies the "birthers." Simple description: Conservative, white Republican men. Somebody ask Boozman and Webb.
