Fayettevillians being 'dooped'

Posted By on Mon, Sep 14, 2009 at 10:33 AM

A hot election is coming in Fayetteville on a property tax for an expensive new high school. The 'baggers are frothing. But it's also true that the big price tag has put off some on the other end of the ideological spectrum.

The Iconoclast identifies some (there you'll understand my headline quote) of the leading opponents of the school tax, from the baroness of local 'baggers to the usual suspects from the Walton U. School of Vouchers, Charter Schools and Teacher Union Busting. Good discussion in progress.

NW Ark. Times, the Hussman outlet, has endorsed the tax.
