Hang up the @*&! phone

Good day today. The law banning texting while driving takes effect. Alas, cell phone use is still legal for adults who are driving, though those under 18 are now banned from phones and only hands-free devices (they are no help on inattention, studies show) are allowed for 18-20. (There are emergency exceptions.)

I'll be on the road to Fayetteville and back today myself. No cold turkey for me on texting. And don't call. I'm still wireless-less.
