Bloodsuckers never quit

Posted By on Sun, Oct 4, 2009 at 7:25 AM

Interesting report from Stephens Media. Payday lenders, banished from Arkansas after years of legal action, are still punishing borrowers via Internet loans. The attorney general is hounding the lenders and advising victims to STOP (typo in original post) paying on the illegal loans.

Article notes that the Southern Bancorp, which targets underserved communities, is developing a legal lending program for small borrowers unwanted by most banks.
