$25,000 lottery win

Posted By on Wed, Oct 7, 2009 at 10:57 AM

Arkansas Lottery announces a $25,000 scratch-off winner. From spokeswoman Julie Baldridge:

Danny Howell from Garner (White County) won on a $2 Jumbo Bucks ticket.  He is sightless and plans to buy his only child, a 12-year-old daughter, a good Christmas present and use the rest to remodel his home.  He bought the ticket at a Flash Market in McRae, and his buddy was with him when he bought the ticket and brought him today to collect his winnings.
