Forlorn fair

Thanks to Kat Robinson for the picture of today's deserted State Fair midway. She reported that vendors were permitted to close this morning on account of wretched conditions and many did. Even free admission didn't lure many visitors. However, Kat reported a large and enthusiastic crowd in the Swine Barn (below) where proud owners paraded prized porkers.
