McCain aide eases up on Palin

Posted By on Wed, Oct 14, 2009 at 11:18 AM

John McCain's 2008 election strategist Steve Schmidt spoke at the Clinton School this morning. He said recently that Sarah Palin would be a disaster as a Republican candidate in 2012. Said she was a good choice for McCain's VP, gave a great convention speech and lifted the McCain campaign for a time. He also praised The Huckster, whose relationship with McCain seemed prickly at times.
