Rev up the Beck-o-phone

Posted By on Thu, Oct 15, 2009 at 1:21 PM

Republicans are already braying, blogging, Tweeting and re-Tweeting the House vote to allow transfer of Guantanamo prisoners to the U.S. for trial. The vote was 307-114, with a number of Republicans (not automatic John Boozman among them) voting aye. All Ark. Dems voted for the bill, a Homeland Security appropriation, that included the measure.

Do we not trust the security of the U.S. prison system? Did it not hold Timothy McVeigh without incident? Does it not still hold Terry Nichols?
