Bring on the death panels

Posted By on Mon, Oct 19, 2009 at 7:17 PM

Can I declare now and count on blog readers to help (my family will already be informed) not to give me aggressive treatment for physical ills or a colonoscopy when I have end-stage dementia.

I mean it.

Most interesting article in NY Times. It's about advanced treatment for people in such straits, in part because of families' lack of knowledge about the nature of the illness. It's why we want to insure that people get adequate medical consultations at this point (aka death panels).
