The National Association of Free Clinics has set up a toll-free phone line for people who don’t have health insurance to make an appointment at the Little Rock C.A.R.E. free medical clinic on Saturday, Nov. 21, at the Statehouse Convention Center. To make an appointment, call  1-877-236-7617.

Folks wanting to volunteer at the free clinic are asked to register on-line at www.regonline.com/LittleRockCARE . They also can go to freeclinics.us to register, or call the toll-free number.

Lt. Gov. Bill Halter, who organized the clinic here, has also set up a facebook account for people wanting to volunteer : Join “Volunteer – Little Rock Health Clinic” here. (link fixed)

The clinic, open to ages 6 to 65, will run from noon to 7 p.m.
