The Stupak amendment

Posted By on Thu, Nov 12, 2009 at 4:38 PM

More reporting on the likely significant impact of the Stupak amendment to add new restrictions on abortion coverage by private insurance companies -- restrictions that could mean the end of coverage for many women, no matter the circumstances of their pregnancy, even if they wanted to pay their own money. It got a tough review, too, on Dr. Nancy. The poor will suffer most.

Nice note: Politico reports that the Republican National Committee's group health plan covers elective abortions.
