Pushing against health reform

Posted By on Tue, Nov 24, 2009 at 4:06 PM

Brummett blogs about calls Arkansans got last night from live callers describing the awfulness of the Harry Reid-Nancy Pelosi health legislation and then asking the call recipients if they opposed it or not. Push polling taken to a new low, Brummett figures.

Another anecdote on this dishonest tactic, paid by either rich doctors, rich pill merchants Republicans or rich insurance companies (some titles interchangeable). A guy we know got the call, listened patiently, then engaged the caller in a little back-and-forth.

Finally, he asked, "Don't you really think everybody should have health coverage?"

Her answer: "Well, yes."
