Gilbert in the gutter

Posted By on Tue, Dec 1, 2009 at 6:32 AM

Sen. Gilbert Baker knows how to raise money. And one way is to use the Drudge Report to tell the big lie.

An ad there in recent days had asked readers if they supported the "Obama-Lincoln health care takeover." Vote yes or no on that phony survey and you were taken here, to a page to give the Republican "family values" candidate money. Most churches inveigh against lying. Not Baker's apparently. Whatever else you can say bad about Sen. Blanche Lincoln -- and there's plenty -- calling her a supporter of government health care is, unfortunately, simply dishonest.
