White House security breach

Posted By on Thu, Dec 3, 2009 at 11:01 AM

Three people have been put on leave on account of the White House gate crashers.

Am I wrong to not be as worked up about this as the rest of the media world seems to be?

Someday, perhaps, I'll relate an incident of which I have knowledge of a person entering a White House party under an assumed name without an ID. OK, it was a child. But those little buggers can be dangerous. Ask the cop in Ozark.

Great piece in Washington Post on the budget crisis in Louisiana. Big tax cuts and corporate welfare will do that to a state, particularly to a state whose previous governor, Republican Bobby Jindal, refused to join the Obamacare-funded Medicaid expansion. There's a lesson there for Arkansas.
