Washington marriages imperiled

Posted By on Tue, Dec 15, 2009 at 1:54 PM

The Washington, D.C. City Council has legalized same-sex marriages in the city.

Traditional marriages in the city are officially doomed. Any day now, U.S. senators will start consorting with prostitutes and staff members and picking up men in airports. Even family values Republicans will be at risk with this barrier broken.

ON A MORE SOBER NOTE: The Human Rights campaign is urging letters to the Catholic Archdiocese of Washington not to follow through with a threat to cut its social services in the city if the measure passed.
