One of Tiger Woods' latest problems is having his name linked with a doctor suspected of dispensing performance-enhancing drugs. In Woods' case, the doctor  provided legal care, something known as platelet-rich plasma injection therapy, an alternative to surgery for muscle tears and such.

Turns out that John Brummett, erstwhile tennis player, has tried the treatment for his own athletic injury. He's blogged about it in an interesting first-person look at something that might interest weekend court/field/etc. warriors.
