Posted By on Wed, Dec 23, 2009 at 1:42 PM

Sensitive Republicans have given a cold-shoulder to select members of media.

* Veteran Texas Monthly political writer Paul Burka was banned by Kay Bailey Hutchison's campaign from participating in a televised gubernatorial debate (link fixed) co-sponsored by -- Texas Monthly. The magazine dropped its sponsorship.

* And, up in Alaska, four media people were banned from Wasilla homecoming book sale by Sarah Palin.

Been down that road.
