A heart for Christmas

Posted By on Mon, Dec 28, 2009 at 12:56 PM

George Schroeder, an Oregon sports writer who once worked at the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, writes about a Christmas wish for a heart for his month-old son, in the care of Arkansas Children's Hospital. George blogs periodically, too, but his last post was Christmas day. We're attempting to get a medical update.

Children's currently has nine patients awaiting transplants.

UPDATE: Here's a link where you can sign up to check in on family updates on the baby's situation.
