Another Supreme Court candidate

An e-mail this morning sends a link to what apparently will be a third candidate in the race for Arkansas Supreme Court, Position 6, vacated by Annabelle Imber's retirement.

She is Evelyn Moorhead of Little Rock. She is black, which perhaps will figure in her campaign strategy, judging by some of her early planned campaign events. No black has ever been elected to the state Supreme Court. Her news release says:

For more balance, more reason vote Evelyn L. Moorehead for Supreme Court Justice, Position 6.

Circuit Judge Tim Fox and Appeals Court Judge Karen Baker previously had announced plans to run.
