Lettuce entertain you

Activists from the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals donned lettuce leaf bikinis to distribute tofurkey sandwiches in front of the Old State House at the noon hour today. Hordes emerged from the Stephens Inc. tower to check out what was on offer at the publicity stunt, along with plenty of photographers.

It was a nippy 34.
