The night of the iguana

Posted By on Thu, Jan 7, 2010 at 4:57 PM

Actually, it's the night of the open line. But, while you're at it, you might get a laugh out of this iguana story from Florida. Beware frozen iguanas falling from trees. They might not be dead, but just hiberating, as a fellow who picked up a carload of them discovered.

And while I'm babbling:

Rapper Lil Wayne (No. 6 on the Democrat-Gazette's Weekend Top 10) is going to be in town Saturday, the same day as the annual David O. Dodd Is Still Dead Fest at Mount Holly (No. 2 on D-G Top Ten). Question: If somebody had arranged to get Lil Wayne to do a cameo at Dodd Day, would the Sons of Confederate Veterans' Dodd memorial march have merited No. 1, ahead of the D-G's chart topping Gillett Coon Supper?

Or what if the SCV made a cameo at Lil Wayne's show at Verizon. Would THAT have merited a No. 1?

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports that an ethics complaint has been filed saying that the exploratory committee Rep.
