LR filmmaker in Haiti

The New York Times has posted a video interview with Little Rock documentary filmmaker Brent Renaud about his recent trip to Haiti for a film on deforestation there.

Huge swaths of forest have been cut to produce charcoal for subsistence existences. That has brought mudslides that have crippled agriculture and roads, among other ills.
