Take it away. It's been a a busy day, I'm ambling to the barn.

If you're a glutton for civic punishment, you can follow NLR Council interviews tonight with a slew of applicants for the open alderman's seat at this Twitter feed.

* Little Rock announces receipt of $8.6 million in federal stimulus money to pour into rehabilitating houses in poor neighborhoods or building new ones on vacant lots of places where houses have been demolished.

* Barbara Anderson, currently principal of Bale Elementary, will be principal of the new Don Roberts Elementary School opening next year in western Little Rock.
