Bisbee and Benton County

John Brummett endeavors to explain why Benton County Judge Dave Bisbee's use of his own company to do some county work isn't a case of self-enrichment. Still a bad idea, of course, even if he did save the county $1,100.

Brummett says Bisbee is guiltier of being a smart alec autocratic than of ethical misconduct. Which, he notes, got Bisbee on the wrong side of some other legislators during his days in the state Senate.
