Beebe appoints

Posted By on Wed, Jan 20, 2010 at 4:04 PM

Gubernatorial appointsment announced today included a couple I'd mentioned earlier -- Jean Hervey of Plumerville and Martin Silverfield of Little Rock to the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board. Just so you'll know: one of my early confirming sources for those, first reported by Capsearch, was a player in the booze industry. Courtesies must be observed, I guess.

More new blood for the University of Central Arkansas Board of Trustees: Victor Green of Conway to succeed Patricia Bassett.

And Frank Guinn Jr. of Paragould got an often coveted seat on the State Police Commission. He succeeds Charisse Childers.
