Boozman irks Coleman

Posted By on Thu, Feb 4, 2010 at 9:34 AM

Curtis Coleman, in an interview with National Journal, expresses his unhappiness with U.S. Rep. John Boozman's late entry into the U.S. Senate race. He suggests that Boozman, good Repub that he is, still might suffer from a throw-the-bums-out mentality.

According to Coleman, a profile conducted by his campaigned showed it takes only 23 counties to produce 82% of the GOP primary vote. Among those voters, "there is an enormous anti-incumbent" and "throw-the-bums-out mentality," Coleman said, though he insisted, "John Boozman is not the bum."

He added though that he "frankly" doesn't know how Boozman is "going to run away from that effectively."

This could be fun. But, most likely, the bottom line will be a Battle of the Bums (Booz and Blanche) in November. But Baker may have something to say about that first. B there.
