Senate upheaval

Despite a big lead in the polls and a big campaign chest, Democratic Sen. Evan Bayh of Indiana has decided he won't seek re-election this year. Pollsters are now talking about a Republican takeover. Then Democrats can become the Party of No. It seems to work pretty well politically, if not for the country.
