The wheels of justice

Posted By on Mon, Feb 22, 2010 at 11:41 AM

You know the cliche. Those wheels of justice turn slowly. I was just griping to someone this morning that -- 13 months into President Obama's inauguration -- we don't have a nominee yet for U.S. attorney in either of Arkansas's two judicial districts. That may be changing. Word comes today that the Justice Department review process has finally gained steam enough to indicate Michael Barnes, a lawyer at Wright Lindsey and Jennings, may finally get the expected nomination for U.S. attorney in Little Rock. News in March, maybe.
