Game and Fish wins gas lease decision

Posted By on Wed, Feb 24, 2010 at 3:46 PM

There's a courthouse scoop in this week's Insider, just posted on the web. The Game and Fish Commission has won the first round of a lawsuit challenging whether it can keep all the proceeds of lucrative gas leases on its land or be forced to share the money with the rest of state government. Appeals seem likely.

Also in the Insider: An explanation for why divorce listings had been missing for some time in the Democrat-Gazette. I notice they returned today, after our inquiry yesterday.
