A traitor to her gender

Posted By on Thu, Mar 4, 2010 at 12:59 PM

Emily's List won't support Sen. Blanche Lincoln. The influential group, formed to assist women's candidacies, is dumping her because she broke a pledge to the group by supporting  a late-term abortion ban that contained no exceptions for women's health.

Lincoln is unconcerned. Arkansas comes first, a spokesman said, in what will become a broken record for Lincoln's abandonment of principle before the political season is over. She said she had a 100 percent pro-choice voting record in 2009.
