Keet reveals assets

Posted By on Tue, Mar 16, 2010 at 6:38 AM

Arkansas law on financial disclosure by public officials and candidates isn't nearly stringent enough.

But Republican gubernatorial candidate Jim Keet, based on his statement of financial interest filed yesterday, would seem well-fixed.

It remains to be seen if he'll devote a significant amount of his holdings to his race, as Bill Halter did in 2006. It will also be interesting to see if national Republicans pour money into this race in return for Keet's supporting fire on national agenda issues (as yesterday, when he parroted of the Party of No's opposition to health reform.)
