Posted By on Mon, Mar 22, 2010 at 12:17 PM

Brownie Ledbetter, 77, a liberal activist of decades standing in Little Rock, died at her home Sunday night.

The family will have a reception from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Rodgers House, 400 W. 18th St. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church. Ruebel Funeral Home will be handling arrangements.

There's further information on a caringbridge page. The family's obituary information is now posted on the Ruebel website. It's a good summary of the civil rights, feminist, political and environmental causes she championed.
