Report on Sherwood sex assault

Posted By on Mon, Mar 22, 2010 at 10:51 AM

Here's the incident report from the Sherwood Police Department about the complaint that led to a sexual assault charge against Abundant Life High School Principal Timothy Ballard, now on paid leave from the school.

It's more complicated than it might have originally appeared. Russell Eudy, the superintendent of the school, reportedly told police that this wasn't the first complaint about inappropriate behavior against Ballard. The first was made 11 years ago and another was made last September, but the report contains no indication about the outcome of those allegations. One former student allegedly told Eudy in an e-mail Feb. 21 of contact with Ballard from her seventh grade to senior years.
