NLR indictee: avoid court

Posted By on Tue, Mar 23, 2010 at 6:41 AM

Argenta News found a little irony at last night's North Little Rock City Council meeting when indicted Alderman Sam Baggett joined others in opposing revocation of a used car lot's permit.

Then in a surreal moment at the end of the meeting during public comment, indicted Alderman Sam Baggett, explained he voted against the repeal because of the threat of a lawsuit.  Stating "We don't need anything like that"

Yes, court can be bothersome to efficient conduct of city business. Argenta News said Baggett should resign.
