Turn out the lights

Posted By on Wed, Mar 24, 2010 at 4:13 PM

I have some errands to run. Commence firing.

As I head for the door: I almost hate to mention this, but Republican senatorial candidate Curtis Coleman says he will find a way to require President Obama to produce a birth certificate (never mind that Hawaii has produced one). I think the interesting question is how many others in the Elite Eight will agree with Coleman. And whether Coleman has a certificate of sanity. Keep me posted, Mr. Tolbert.

PS -- Certain of our readers probably already know there's a precautionary boil order for 455 customers in Walton Heights on account of an 8-inch water line break this morning. Central Arkansas Water said it expects to lift the order Thursday.

PPS -- KUAR reports that a Southwest flight from Little Rock to Baltimore returned to Little Rock and landed without incident this afternoon after smoke was smelled on board.
