Government mandates

Posted By on Thu, Mar 25, 2010 at 6:39 AM

Anybody else happen to notice this:

1B of today's Democrat-Gazette: An angry group of 30 protestors demonstrated over the health insurance legislation, which requires payment of a tax if you don't have health insurance. This requirement is said to be unprecedented, unconstitutional, a usurpation of state's rights, etc.

1A of today's Democrat-Gazette: A reminder of the federal government's mandated insurance program for people who live in flood zones. Somebody call the teabaggers and rouse the militia.
