Maverick move?

Posted By on Thu, Apr 1, 2010 at 4:57 PM

Former Arkansas governor and presidential candidate Mike Huckabee came out in support of Scott Wallace today in the race for the Republican nomination in the second congressional district. The move does seem a bit curious given the fact that a lot of Washington GOPers seem to be backing Tim Griffin (Rep. Eric Cantor was in Little Rock stumping for Griffin yesterday). Huckabee cited Wallace's business experience as a reason for his endorsement, saying Wallace is "solid on the issues that matter."
