Rep. John Boozman raised $683,000 during the first quarter and has $563,000 cash on hand. That puts him slightly ahead of Sen. Gilbert Baker, who announced earlier in the week that his campaign has $501,123 on hand. There had been some speculation that unless Boozman was able to put up big numbers – somewhere around $1 million – his position as the favorite could come into question.
