Lincoln will keep Goldman gold

Posted By on Tue, Apr 20, 2010 at 1:37 PM

Sen. Blanche Lincoln was asked today if she'd refund thousands in campaign contributions from Goldman Sachs, now under indictment for fraud. Not on your life. You'll recall that Lincoln, tap-dancing on the head of a pin, says it is OK to take money from government bailout beneficiaries like Goldman Sachs so long as they are no longer still in active possession of such money. She had rather craftily phrased her earlier disavowal of financial support from the likes of the Wall Street billionaires.
