Fire in Chenal

Posted By on Wed, Apr 21, 2010 at 11:14 AM

Fire officials are estimating damage at $700,000 in a fire last night at 7 Falata Court in Chenal Valley. Two occupants were home, but escaped unharmed in the 9:30 p.m. fire, a Fire Department spokesman said. He said 28 firefighters responded to the major blaze and officials were still combing the damage for clues to cause and place of origin. County records indicate the house is owned by U. R. and Cherlyon Reid.
