Unions target Lincoln

Posted By on Thu, Apr 22, 2010 at 10:49 AM

The AFL-CIO is targeting job sites with anti-Lincoln campaign material, Talking Points Memo reports. Sen. Lincoln's repudiation of card check legislation is the driving issue for labor. Never mind that opponent Bill Halter is dodging the card check question. He's right, of course, that card check as originally conceived is dead. Note the rolling poll average puts Lincoln ahead 45-31. That's runoff territory, but it still leaves Halter with a big chunk of ground to make up.
