The Arkansas Supreme Court ruled definitively Friday that Willard Proctor cannot be an Arkansas judge again as a result of his removal for ethical violations in conduct of his Pulaski County circuit court.

But he has one last hail mary — I learned this morning that he filed a petition earlier in the week with the U.S. Supreme Court asking for review of his removal. This is the longest of shots, but as Yogi said, it ain’t over until it’s over.
